Kerry and Gary Volmer of St. Paul are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erica Ann Volmer to Caleb Ray Strickland, son of Cathy and Calvin Strickland of Oswego. The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of St. Paul High School and attended Xenon International Academy in Wichita for cosmetology. She is employed at Cutting Edge of Parsons as a hair stylist. The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Oswego High School, a 2008 graduate from Kansas State University, School of Architecture, Planning, and Design with a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and a 2011 graduate from Pittsburg State University with a Masters degree in Engineering Technology. He is employed at AZZ – Atkinson in Pittsburg, KS as Project Manager. The couple plan an April wedding at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Parsons.
