Scotty & Phyllis (Liposek) Bitner celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary October 10, 2011. Scotty & Phyllis were united in marriage in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On their 20th anniversary, October 10, 2001 they renewed their vows at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac, Ks. with Father Bob McElwee officiating. They are the parents of Mike & Lori Bitner, Frontenac; Jody Bitner, Pittsburg; Kay and Andy Baden, Lawrence, Ks.; Billie & Gene McCloud, Pittsburg; and Melissa Andrews, Frontenac, Ks. They have 11 grandchildren: Brooke and Katelyn Bitner, Scotty Michael Bitner (deceased 1993); Jackie & Joey Bitner; Zach, Josh and Abby Baden; Brittany & Cody McCloud; Alex Andrews. The couple celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Europe visiting relatives and friends in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Austria.
