PITTSBURG —
Two local students have been awarded Norvelle and Darlene Deruy Family Scholarships at Pittsburg State University.
Students receiving this scholarship must be Crawford County residents and have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.
Receiving these scholarships were Eli Spurling, Frontenac High School graduate and incoming freshman, son of Terry and Brenda Spurling, Liberal, Mo., and Girard; and Aaron Ward, son of Marta Ward, Cherokee, a Southeast High School graduate and PSU junior marketing major.
