Senior Services Nutrition Center, 3003 N. Joplin, serves lunchtime meals which are open to any person 60 or older.
Participants are asked to make reservations for lunch one day in advance. A donation of $3 per meal is suggested.
All meals are served with milk and wheat bread with margarine unless otherwise specified. Menus for the week beginning June 11 will be as follows:
MONDAY
Biscuit with sausage gravy, hard boiled egg, orange juice, red applesauce.
TUESDAY
Flame-broiled hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, banana.
WEDNESDAY
Dinner frank with bun, potato salad, California blend vegetables, apple slices.
THURSDAY
Chicken salad with crackers, cottage cheese with fresh tomato, spinach salad with dressing, blushing pears.
FRIDAY
Baked taco chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans, peaches/strawberries.
