Senior Citizens Club
Pittsburg Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1 p.m. for a business session and bingo. The “Dog Days of Summer” will be celebrated with hot dogs and chips for members.
Anyone needing additional infornation about the club may call the Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department at 231-8310.
Legion bingo
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host bingo, open to the public, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. Early bird game will start at 6:20 p.m., with regular play following The event is non-smoking. Jackpot stands at 56 numbers for $300.
Center dance
Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin, will host an “Oldies But Goodies” dance from 7 to 9 p.m. with music from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
There will be a $1 admission fee. Coffee and punch will be served. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.
