PITTSBURG —
Pittsburg State Athletics is proud to announce that “The Pitt Crew” is the name of the new youth booster group.
Nearly 300 Gorilla fans voted over the weekend and the Pitt Crew narrowly beat Kid Kong for the name of the new group.
Kids 4-12 are invited to join The Pitt Crew by filling out the registration form here. The cost is only $15 and includes free general admission to all Pitt State regular season home games for all sports, seating in a special Pitt Crew section, a Pitt Crew T-Shirt, PItt Crew gear pack, exclusive opportunities to meet PSU student-athletes, coaches and Gus, a Freddy’s discount card and many other fun benefits throughout the year.
To receive a fall gear pack, kids need to be registered by August 10, but can continue to register until December 31, 2012.
The Pitt Crew is sponsored by Freddy’s Frozen Custard. Game day supervision will be provided by the Pittsburg State Department of Family and Consumer Sciences/Early Childhood Development.
