Franklin Gene & Dorothy May Benskin will be celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary on July 31, 2012. They were married on July 31, 1943 at the home of Dorothy’s grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. James C. Clark, southwest of Fort Scott, Kansas. 20 relatives and friends attended. The Rev. Hartly B. Enochs officiated. Franklin Gene was the son of Raymond & Ella Terrill Benskin. Dorothy was the dauther of Orton E. & Maggie J. Clark White. The couple have lived in Pittsburg for 53 years.
