Frontenac Rotary
Frontenac Rotary Club will meet at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac.
No program is planned, but the club will induct new member Anna Gudde and work on projects for coming months. Rotarian of the day will be Frances Buche and Teresa Shouse will serve as greeter. Leo Sievert will be sergeant at arms.
Lasagna will be served for lunch.

There will be no United Commercial Travelers meeting at the Mall Deli.
Pittsburg Farmers Market
Pittsburg Farmers Market will begin at 4 p.m. at Second and Broadway and run until sold out.
Special items will include cucumbers, cantaloupes, okra, watermelons and more.
Shoppers may pay with credit, debit or Vision cards, and some produce vendors also accept Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers.

Watermelon feed
Crawford County Democrats will host a free watermelon feed at 5 p.m. in front of the Commercial Building at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.
Democratic candidates for local and state offices will be present to serve watermelon and visit with the public.
Alpha Kappa Chapter
ARMA — Alpha Kappa Chapter, Phi Tau Omega sorority, will have a monthly business meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Theresa Nesbitt with Jeanette Davied and Jo Hermann as co-hostesses.
Members should bring backpacks to the August meeting. Any member unable to attend should contact one of the hostesses.
Business Builders
Business Builders of Southeast Kansas meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Lamplighter Inn and Suites. Anyone needing additional information may call Cheryle Wilson at 231-8700.
Chicopee card games
Card games will be played from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. very Wednesday, except holidays, at the Chicopee Community Center.
All card games are welcome. Bridge players do not need to bring a partner, since the game is set up so that everyone plays, even when there is an odd number of players.
Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers will meet every Wednesday at the Homer Cole Community Center. Weigh-in starts at 5 p.m., followed by the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
