Senior Services Nutrition Center, 3003 N. Joplin, serves lunchtime meals which are open to any person 60 or older.
Participants are asked to make reservations for lunch one day in advance. A donation of $3 per meal is suggested.
All meals are served with milk and wheat bread with margarine unless otherwise specified. Menus for the week beginning Aug. 6 will be as follows:
MONDAY
Hawaiian meatballs with pineapple sauce, brown rice, mixed vegetables, pears.
TUESDAY
Chicken dressing with gravy, green beans, jellied cranberry sauce, applesauce.
WEDNESDAY
Spaghetti with meat sauce, peas with onions, banana, garlic bread.
THURSDAY
Tuna salad with crackers, spinach salad with dressing, macaroni/pea salad, peaches.
FRIDAY
Chicken tater tot casserole, coleslaw, fruited gelatin, raisins.
