Pittsburg Beautiful will meet at noon at the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
Discussion will include the “Don’t Litter” campaign, along with reports about the monthly home and business awards, clean-up accomplishments and final plans for the RV and bike park.
New members are always welcome.
USD 247 board
CHEROKEE — Southeast USD 247 Board of Education will have a special meeting at 5:15 p.m.
Discussion will include school start times, the food service a la carte pricing policy and iPad policy, with executive sessions on non-elected personnel and negotiations.
School enrollment will be Aug. 7 - 9, and the next regular board meeting will be held Aug. 13.
Girard TOPS
GIRARD — TOPS Group #0975, Girard, meets Mondays at the Girard Presbyterian Church. Weigh-in begins at 4:45 p.m., with the meeting following.
All interested persons may attend. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-724-4096 or 620-235-1790.
Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle, but any card game is welcome.
Snacks and beverages will be available. Anyone needing additional information may call 230-0707.

TOPS No. 599 (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at College Heights United Methodist Church.
Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.
