Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mitchell, of Weir, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jesse Kaye Mitchell, to Christopher James Smith, son of Joe Smith, St. Paul and Becky Smith, Farlington. The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Pittsburg High School. She graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas with her Doctor of Pharmacy. The future groom is a 1995 graduate of St. Paul High School and a 1999 graduate of Benedictine with a Bachelor of Finance and Economics. He also graduated from the Colorado School of Banking in 2005. The wedding will be held August 18,2012 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence, KS. Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Lawrence, KS.
