Sunflower Kiwanis
Sunflower Kiwanis Club board will meet at 6 a.m. in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital. Regular meeting with breakfast will follow at 6:45 a.m.

Program chairman will be Charles Blatchley, who will discuss the “God Particle.”

Red Hat Belles
ARMA — Red Hat Belles will meet at 11 a.m. at Kyoto. Hostesses will be Jennie Hahnemann, Francis O’Blak and Marie Chiappetti.

Those attending should wear their red or pink hats.

Rotary Club
Pittsburg Rotary Club will meet at noon in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.

Ken Burbach will give the invocation, and song leader will be Craig Fuchs. Nate Garrett will have introductions, and serving as sergeant at arms will be Jon Bartlow.

Program will be presented by Tim Beck, who will comment on the upcoming Pittsburg State University Gorillas football season.

SEK Conservative Group
Southeast Kansas Conservative Group will meet at 6:15  p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center.

This will be a movie night, with a showing of the documentary “Monumental,” a 90-minute true story presented, produced and starring Kirk Cameron. It follows Cameron across Europe and the United States as he seeks to discover America’s true “national treasure,” the people, places and principles that have made America the best example of civil, economic and religious liberty the world has ever known.

Hot dogs, popcorn and other movie treats will be available, and there may be a few copies of the documentary for sale.
After viewing the documentary, those attending will watch election results from the state and local primary.

Theta Epsilon Chapter
Theta Epsilon Chapter, Phi Tau Omega sorority, will meet at 6 p.m. at the home of Teresa Simons for a social time. A business session will follow at 6:30 p.m.

Items on the agenda will include planning the yearly calendar and discussion of future projects. Hostesses will be Sussie Kunshek and Mary Geier, and any member unable to attend should contact a hostess.

Scottish Rite
FORT SCOTT — Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 8 a.m. every Tuesday at the Scottish Rite Center, 110 S. Main, Fort Scott.

There will be no set agenda or predetermined topic, simply conversation among friends. Everyone is welcome to attend,  and need not be Scottish Rite members or Masons.  Men attending are welcome to bring their wives or friends.

ARMA — The ARMA TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Chapter meetings include private weigh-in, information on good nutrition, educational programs and moral support and encouragement to help members reach their weight loss goals.

Arma bingo
ARMA — Arma American Legion will have bingo night, starting with early bird games at 6:30 p.m. Regular games will follow immediately after the early bird games.

Zumba class
Jessica Wakeman will offer a zumba class from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin.

There will be a $5 fee for the class. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.

Elks bingo
Pittsburg Elks Lodge will host bingo night, open to the public. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with card sales at 5:30 p.m. and mini games at 6 p.m.  Regular games begin at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.
