A benefit dinner, auction and live music for John A. Tersinar will be held Oct. 20 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.
Dinner will start at 5:30 p.m., with free will donations accepted. An auction will follow, with live entertainment until 10 p.m. by the band “Sick, Sorry & Sober!” Alcoholic beverages will not be provided, but those who wish may bring their own.
Tersinar was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and has been receiving chemotherapy since July. He will be traveling to M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas in late October for surgery. Proceeds will go toward medical expenses for the Tersinar family.
Donations are also being accepted on Tersinar’s behalf at the Girard National Bank.
