Freeman Health System is proud to welcome Trish Shuler as cardiology unit director. A 15-year veteran in the healthcare industry, Shuler will work to continue a high level of quality patient outcomes and provide support and guidance for cardiology staff.
Shuler was employed for nine years with Freeman as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Rescue Department. A natural leader, she served on the health system’s ICU Council and Wound Care Committee, as well as assisted with annual skills labs for staff. For the past three years, she served as chief clinical officer at Landmark Hospital, where she oversaw all clinical staff, as well as developed and enhanced in-house services.
Shuler is a graduate of Research College of Nursing and Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.
“Her knowledge and expertise will allow Trish to continue the high level of patient care that this community has come to know and expect from Freeman,” said Lucretia Craig, Freeman Chief Nursing Officer.
