INDEPENDENCE —
The board of directors of First Federal Savings & Loan Association of Independence announced that it has named Hannah Johnson as Assistant Vice President. Ms. Johnson has held the position of Compliance Officer for First Federal for the past 7 years. Ms. Johnson manages the compliance and audit department and operations for the Association. Ms. Johnson has been employed with First Federal since 2001. Prior to her current position, she held the positions of loan processor and customer service representative.
Ms. Johnson is a Leadership Independence graduate and currently serves as the Chairman of the Leadership Independence Board. Ms. Johnson also serves on the board of the Cedar Bluff Leadership Challenge Course.
Ms. Johnson has 2 sons, Ashton and Jacob.
First Federal serves Montgomery, Wilson, Chautauqua and Crawford counties in southeast Kansas and has offices in Independence, Coffeyville, Neodesha and Pittsburg. In addition to four full service branches, First Federal has a loan production office located in Lawrence.
