Freeman Health System is proud to announce its new chief nursing officer, Lucretia Craig. In her role at Freeman, Craig will lead all nursing services, ensuring patient care at the health system is second to none.

Craig joins Freeman with more than 25 years of nursing experience. She previously served as global product strategy leader for GE Healthcare in Barrington, Ill. Prior to that, she worked for 13 years as chief imaging officer at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kan.

Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and a master’s degree in management from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan. Craig is a native of Bonne Terre, Mo.

“Lucretia will be a strong advocate for nursing,” said Jeff Carrier, Freeman Chief Clinical Officer. “She has an excellent track record with shared decision making models, lean process improvement, driving higher performance with her teams, and achieving world-class outcomes for patients.”
