SEK Retired School Personnel

Southeast Kansas Retired School Personnel will meet at the First Church of the Nazarene.

Social time will be at 9:15 a.m., and Diana Kerle, president, will call the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Bob Casino will lead the flag ceremony and Charles Kellogg will direct the singing, accompanied by Phyllis Roberds. An inspirational moment will be given by Bob Roberts.

Irma Hawley, program planner, will introduce physical therapist Brian Pinamonti  who will speak on “Functional Mobility.”

Hosts will be Diana Kerle, Betty Hight, Edna Kellogg and Norma Wilson. Greeters will be Lois Lemon and Phyllis Roberds.

Chinese Spring Festival
Pittsburg State University Chinese Culture Club will celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, at 5 p.m. in room 316, Hughes Hall.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn how to make dumplings, play traditional Chinese games and learn about the history of the festival.

The event will be open free to the public.

Legion bingo
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will sponsor bingo, open to the public, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Joplin.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Early bird game starts at 6:20 p.m.  This is a non-smoking event.
