Parsons, Kansas – Labette Center for Mental Health Services (LCMHS) is pleased to announce that Sally Marang, LPC, EDS joined our staff as a full time therapist on January 9th, 2013. Marang will see all ages of clientele for the center.
Marang received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Pittsburg State University. She then went on to continue her education at PSU and received her Master of Science and Specialist in Education. She worked for two years as a graduate assistant at Pittsburg State University, in the University Testing Center. Marang has experience in academic counseling, truancy diversion, family therapy, children and adult therapy, and foster care therapy needs. Previously she taught English at the high school level for eight years, and currently teaches psychology college classes.
Growing up in Cherryvale, KS, where her parents still reside, Marang is proud to be a native to Southeast Kansas. She has two sisters, one who resides in the Kansas City, KS area and the other, an active member of the Army. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, movies, music, long bike trips, and traveling. She has enjoyed five separate trips to Europe.
