Quality competition plays an important part in the development of life skills in young girls. Academics, sports, and the arts all have venues for kids to develop a proficiency in their individual strengths.
On April 6, at Pittsburg High School, young ladies from the area will have the opportunity to compete for a local title in the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant, a competition based on the Miss America model for girls ages 3-17. Contestants will qualify to compete in the state finals in June, and possibly move on to the international pageant which awards over $100,000 in scholarships and educational prizes annually.
A “natural” pageant, contestants will focus their energy on performing talent, interview and stage presence. For information about the competition, you can visit www.kscinderella.com.
