Lisa Tibbetts and Matthew Schmidt were united in marriage September 3, 2011 on the beach at the Grand Plaza Hotel in St. Pete’s, Florida. The Bride is the daughter of Barbara Tibbetts and Kevin Tibbetts. The groom is the son and step-son of Wendy and Warren Strukel and the son of Phil Schmidt. The reception was held at the Grand Plaza hotel with a buffet dinner and an evening dance. The bride graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 and is a marketing and sales professional at Blue Book Construction. The groom graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2007 and is an estimator and quality control supervisor for Harkins Development. The couple spent their honeymoon in California and will reside in St. Mary’s, Florida.
