Becoming a foster parent and/or adoptive parent can provide both to a child.

Children of all ages, sibling groups, special needs and medically fragile children need a safe, healthy environment in which to grow.

KVC Behavioral HealthCare, Inc. will be sponsoring a PS-MAPP class in Pittsburg. If you have considered becoming a foster or adoptive parent we welcome you to attend.

Classes will begin on February 19th and run through April 23rd, 2013 in your area.

The training is offered at no cost and must be completed before being considered for placement of children in State’s custody through foster care or adoption. All adults living in the home and sharing parenting responsibilities must be PS-MAPP trained.
Single parents are welcome. It is necessary to attend all sessions in order to complete the course.

For further information or to register for a class please call (620) 431-1837.
