Liberal Ladies
Liberal Ladies Who Lunch will meet at noon at the PIttsburg Public Library. Those attending should bring their own lunch and any topics they wish to discuss.

Plans will also be discussed for Washington Days Feb. 22 and 23 in Topeka. Members are asked to bring desserts such as cookies, brownies and finger foods so that Lynn  Grant can transport them for the Southeast Kansas Hospitality Room.

Frontenac Rotary
Frontenac Rotary Club will meet at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac. Program will be presented by Jeremy Newcomb, manager of Jay Hatfield Kawasaki, Frontenac.

Dale Slagle will be Rotarian of the day, John White will serve as greeter and Barry Anderson will be sergeant at arms. Lunch menu will include meatloaf.

Bingo
Medicalodge will host free bingo at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.

Church dinner
Frontenac United Methodist Church will serve a chicken noodle dinner from 4:30 p.m. until sold out.
Cost, which includes dessert and beverage, will be $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 3-12. Proceeds will go to the church.

MovieMakers meeting
Pittsburg Public Library will host a MovieMakers program at 4 p.m. in the PPL Young Adult Studio. Participants will have an opportunity to film a library promotional video during this meeting.

PPL MovieMakers program encourages teens to follow their own interests in the movie-making process, whether it be writing, directing, make-up and costumes, set design or editing movies. The program is open free to anyone in sixth through 12th grades, and new members are always welcome.

Alpha Kappa Chapter
Alpha Kappa Chapter, Phi Tau Omega sorority, will have its monthly social at 6 p.m. at Gebhardt’s in Mulberry. Hostesses will be Becky Cobb and Carol Puckett.

Any members unable to attend should contact one of the hostesses.

Chicopee card games
Card games will be played from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday, except holidays, at the Chicopee Community Center.

All card games are welcome. Bridge players do not need to bring a partner, since the game is set up so that everyone plays, even when there is an odd number of players.

Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers will meet every Wednesday at the Homer Cole Community Center. Weigh-in starts at 5 p.m., followed by the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
