FRIDAY, AUG. 17

6 to 8:30 p.m. - 50-50 bingo, Arma American Legion Hall
7 p. m. to midnight - Arma/Northeast Alumni Reunion, Mirza Shrine Temple,  Pittsburg
7 to 11 p.m. - Toby’s Amusement Company, Arma City Park. This will be “bracelet night” or “Mega Pass” night, with children able to ride all the rides for one set price.
7:30 p.m. - Horsepulling contest behind the Arma City Pool. Admission is $4, free for children 12 and younger. Receive a Homecoming ticket for the Sunday drawing.
Ceremony by Lon M. Helm Jr. Arma American Legion Post 182 - National Anthem, introduction by Dave Bierbrodt, and welcome by Arma mayor Chris Pommier.
First place trophy and $200 cash prize, second place prize  is $100 cash, third prize is $75 cash, all other prizes $40.
7 p.m. to ? - Food and craft vendor booths.

SATURDAY, AUG. 18

7 a.m. - Registration for 5K run, beginning at Northeast High School. Entry fee is $10.
7:30 a.m. 5K run begins, with prizes awarded for various age groups.
8 a.m. - ? - Food and craft vendor booths in downtown area.
10 a.m. - Parade, with singing of National Anthem by Ellie Dearring. Homecoming queens Kaylee Bogina and Jasmine Tindle. Grand marshal Jim Atha will represent all past commanders of Lon Helm Jr. American Legion Post 182.  All parade entries to be judged must be registered and lined up by 9:15 a.m. by the Arma Elementary School. Organizational and commercial floats will be judged on capturing the theme “Let’s Dance,” workmanship and overall appearance. There will also be a novelty contest including pets, bicycles and novelties, antique cars, antique and classic tractors and motorcycles. All classic and antique vehicle parade entries are invited to display after the parade in front of the Arma Community Center.
10 a.m. - Mud volleyball, south of the Arma Swimming Pool. Entry fee is $50 per team, with registration at 9 a.m. Admission fee is $1 at the gate.
11 a.m. - Grand stand event, with Steffany Peternell as master of ceremonies, with honored guests and dignitaries.
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Toby’s Amusement Company with “bracelet time” or “Mega Pass.” Children may ride all rides for one set price.
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Homecoming dinner in basement of Arma United Methodist Church. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger.
11 a.m. - Children’s activities, at the grand stand, including turtle race, tricycle race, foot races, activity race and throwing contest.
1 p.m. - Horseshoe pitching (open), $5 entry fee. There will be trophies and prizes for the top three winners in each division.
2 p.m. - Women’s rolling pin throw for women aged 16 and older.
3 p.m. - Women’s nail driving contest for women aged 16 and older.
5 - 7 p.m. - Spaghetti feed, Arma American Legion Hall, cost is a $6 donation.
6 p.m. - Warm-up for the dance contest, downtown area.
6:30 p.m. - Dance contest, downtown area. Prizes will be given for the first, second and third place couples.

9 - 11 a.m. - Homecoming breakfast, sponsored by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in the church hall. Carry-outs will be available. Cost will be $5 for adults, $3 for children aged 4-12, and free for ages 3 and younger.
10 a.m. - noon - Fishing derby at Hookie Park, south of the Arma swimming  pool, for youngsters aged 6 and younger, 7-10 and 11-14.
10:30 a.m. - Registration for bocce tournament, at north shelter house in Arma City Park. Registration is $5  per person. Coed entries are welcome.
11 a.m. - Bocce tournament starts.
1 - 9 p.m. - Food vendors, downtown area.
1 p.m. Horseshoe pitching (doubles play only). Entry fee will be $5 each. Partners will be picked by the draw. Prizes will go to the first, second and third place winners.
12:30 - 1 p.m. - Registration for Home Run Derby, Hookie Park, south of the pool. Entry fee is $5.
1 p.m. - Home Run Derby, for ages 10 and younger, 11-14, 15-18 and 19 and older. Pitches will be done by a pitching machine, and bats will be provided.
1:15 - 1:45 p.m. - Registration for dog show, northwest corner, Arma City Park.
2 p.m. - Dog show, with categories including best dressed, cutest puppy, best tail wagging, most obedient, least obedient and people’s choice.
2 - 5 p.m. - Gospel singing sponsored by Roger Rank in the Arma Community Center.
4 - 8 p.m. - Toby’s Amusement, Arma City Park. “Bracelet night” or “Mega Pass,” with children able to ride all rides for one set price.
4:30 p.m. - Registration for junior bathing beauty contest, Arma City Park.
5 p.m. - Junior bathing beauty contest for boys and girls aged 0-6 months, 7 - 12 months, 1 year, 2 years and 3 years. All contestants must be dressed in swimwear attire.
6:30 - 7 p.m. - Patriotic sing.
7:15 p.m. - Cake walk, at grand stand area.
7:15 p.m. - Watermelon feed, in front of the plaque.
8 p.m. - Prize drawings will begin at the Arma City Park. For non-resident prizes, winners must be 18 or older to register, must live outside Arma city limits and must be present to win. Grand prizes will be given immediately following non-resident prizes, and the winner need not be present. Merchandise prizes will follow, and the winner must be present to win.
