During January, Kansas celebrates School Board Recognition Month, and USD 248 Board of Education members were recognized and received certificates at their Jan. 10 meeting. Members with their respective years of service (rounded to the nearest full year) include Marilyn Von Soosten, 4; Dale Shireman, 9; Ed Becker, 14; President David Goble, 6; Aaron Callaway, 4; Tony Stonerock, 16; and Gayle Price, 14.
