The Frontenac Junior High boys basketball teams won three of four games Thursday night from Riverton.
The seventh grade A team improved to 11-1 overall and 9-1 in league play with a 51-44 win, led by 14 points from Ty Knowles and 12 apiece by Broc Ginavan and Daniel Watts. Riverton won the seventh grade B game 34-12, despite eight points from Logan Schaffer of Frontenac.
The eighth grade A team won 41-18 with 14 points from Ryan Long and 13 from Luke Loy. Frontenac improved to 10-2 overall and 9-1 in the league. Frontenac won the eighth grade B contest 28-24.
Frontenac plays St. Mary’s on Monday.
