Quilt Guild
Little Balkans Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the Pittsburg Presbyterian Church.
Program will feature Darlene Zimmerman, nationally known lecturer, author and instructor. She will precede her presentation with an all-day workshop on borders, bindings and quilt finishing.
This month’s donation quilts will be presented by Martha Tompkins to the Girard Medical Center’s Smiles for Jamie. Non-profit groups are encouraged to contact Tompkins at 232-9572 for consideration to receive donation quilts from the guild.
Bingo
Golden Living will host bingo at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773.
Girard TOPS
GIRARD — TOPS Group #0975, Girard, meets Mondays at the Girard Presbyterian Church. Weigh-in begins at 4:45 p.m., with the meeting following.
All interested persons may attend. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-724-4096 or 620-235-1790.
Frontenac card games
Card games will be played from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday except holidays at the Frontenac Senior Citizens Building. Primary game is pinochle, but any card game is welcome.

TOPS No. 599
TOPS No. 599 (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at College Heights United Methodist Church.
Private weigh-ins are from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are designed to provide motivation and support to help members reach their weight loss goals.
Visitors are always welcome. Anyone needing additional information may call 620-719-7813.
Dog swim
Pittsburg Parks and Recreation will be holding their 6th annual Dog Swim at the Pittsburg Aquatic Center from 5:30-7 p.m. Admission for dogs to attend is $4 or $2 with a donation to the SEK Humane Society. Proof of shot records for the dogs must be provided upon entry. Call Pittsburg Parks and Recreation at 231-8310 for more information.
