Wanda Lee Wisdom

Wanda Lee Wisdom, 80, died Saturday, May 03, 2008.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 Saturday, May 10 at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, entering through the Main Gate.  The Rev. Camille S. Hegg will officiate. The family will greet friends following the graveside services and asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the College Heights United Methodist Church, P O Box 431, Pittsburg, KS 66762 or the donor's favorite charity.  The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Michael R. Wisdom, 630 Orange Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Mrs. Wisdom was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Sanford Bert Norris and Cora Alma (Kohler) Norris.  She had moved to Macon for the past two months due to her health.  She was retired from Pittsburg State University and was a lifetime member of College Heights United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, where she had been active in the Women's Missionary, church choir and other church groups.   Mrs. Wisdom was preceded in death by her former husband, Raymond Abe Wisdom, Jr.
Mrs. Wisdom is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Debra Wisdom of Macon, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Debra K. and James Klett of Augusta, Georgia; ten grandchildren, Ron Scantlin, Amber Pate, Elyssa Klett, Gregory Klett, Matthew Klett, Jennifer Smyth, Jeremy Wisdom, Marie Brown, Melissa Brown and Melanie Brown; three great-grandchildren, Evan Pate, Samantha Pate and Sophia Scantlin.
