Ernest Joe Cornella

Ernest Joe Cornella came into this world on Sept. 23, 1944 in Antioch, CA; the first child of Joe and Freda Cornella. 
He graduated from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, CA; continuing on to Chico State University where he earned his Masters degree.  Ernest was a building contractor in Chico, CA.  His life long passion was coaching.  He coached football at St. Mary’s College and Butte College.  Lovingly survived by his mother and father; his companion of 38 years Melissa; sister Vicki Perez; nieces Lisa Davis and Tiffany Neal.  Services have been held.  Memorials may be made in Ernest’s memory to The American Cancer Society.
