Arnold Boisdrenghien 88, of Baytown, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2012 at his home in Baytown with his family by his side. Arnold was born on April 27, 1923 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Ademar and Mary (Premk) Boisdrenghien. Arnold served his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Arnold has lived in the Baytown area for the Last 34 years where he worked as an engineer in the petrochemical industry. When he wasn’t busy working he enjoyed fishing, bingo, treasure hunting with his metal detector and spending time with family and friends. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Ademar and Mary Boisdrenghien; wife, Billee Boisdrenghien; and son, Douglas Boisdrenghien. He is survived by his son, Jay Boisdrenghien and wife Gayle; daughter, Dustene Boisdrenghien Gustus and husband Paul; grandchildren, Angie, Leigh, Brandi, Tracy, Lauren, Heather, Maxwell; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Bob Baker & wife Jackie and Don Baker & wife Carolyn and other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends was held on Thursday, February, 2, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Sterling-White. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 3, 2012 10 a.m. at Sterling-White with burial following at Sterling-White Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were Maxwell Gustus, Jason Price, Ronnie Ewell, Willy Palmer, Jay Boisdrenghien, Don Baker and Tracy Boisdrenghien. Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Faith Community Hospice, 4721 Garth Road, Suite H, Baytown, Texas 77521 in Mr. Boisdrenghien’s name.
