COLUMBUS —

Louise T. Parsons, 90 of Columbus, died at 2:00 am July 16, 2008 at the Medicalodge of Columbus.
She was born January 28, 1918 in West Mineral, KS the daughter of Frank and Molly (Lane) Parsons. She attended area schools and graduated from the West Mineral High School.
Louise worked as a waitress and cook for Torchia’s Café in Columbus for over twenty years, she also worked for the Westinghouse Aircraft Engine Plant in Kansas City.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Columbus.
Survivors include her caregiver, Linda Parsons of Scammon, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Marie Shaffer, Florence Johnson and Jenna Mae Manor; six brothers: Roe Parsons, Sr., Albert, Don, Earl, and Jerry Parsons and Danny Parsons who died as a young boy.
Graveside services will be 10 am, Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Columbus City Cemetery with Greg Morrell officiating. Burial will follow. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for the services. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday or 8 am until 9:30 am Friday.
