Mary Ellen Wyatt

OLNEY, Ill. — Mary Ellen Wyatt, 75, of Olney, Illinois died at 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Mrs. Wyatt was born October 26, 1932 at Mulberry the daughter of Glen and Edith Atkins Radford. Mary Ellen was a homemaker. She married Dr. Louis Archie Wyatt on May 31, 1953 at Mulberry, Kansas. Mr. Wyatt survives at the home. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Louis Archie Wyatt of the home, two daughters, Diana Prettyman and Terri Greenberg Volk and her husband, John all of Olney, Illinois, one son, Archie Wyatt and his wife, Lois “Dink” of Mulberry, five sisters, Jean Sumpter of Kansas City, Missouri, May Gottwalt of Moline, Illinois, Lois Napier of Arma, Donna Alexander of Kansas City, Missouri, and Evelyn Gentile of Ozark, Missouri, grandchildren Diana’s children, Mary Hart, Jennifer Hernandez, and Michael Wyatt, Archie’s children, Courtney Wyatt and Adam Neff, and Terri’s children, Brook RaEllen Sloat, Danielle Greenberg and Alexis Greenberg, and great-grandchildren, Maria, Kenzy, Chirstain and James Hart, Ashton Hernandez and Braghen Sloat. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bill and Glen Radford, four sisters, Letha Allen, Reba Stwalley, June Hamilton and Shirley DeMaire, and a granddaughter, Susan Lynn Prettyman.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma. Burial will be at the Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bedene Chapel at Arma. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
