Mateo Vincent Lorenzo, age 22, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012.

He was born July 24, 1990 in Sacramento, CA.  His parents were Mateo Alfred and Rebecca Lynn (Phillips) Lorenzo.  He had lived in Pittsburg since the age of 5.

He had previously been employed at Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS.  He loved music.  He composed digital music and was able to play several instruments.

Mateo was married to Holly Kristina Endicott on August 23, 2008 in Pittsburg, KS.  She survives.

Additional survivors include one son, Damien James Lorenzo Endicott, Cherokee, KS; his mother, Rebecca Jones, Pittsburg,  KS; one sister, Rachel Liane Jones, Tulsa, OK; one special aunt, Karen Flores, Williams, CA; and several other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Sara Jellene Smith and her infant twin who died at birth.

Graveside services will be  at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS.
Memorial contributions on behalf of the family may be made to Derfelt Funeral Home, Columbus, KS.
