Lori Dalphine Lowe Hamilton, 46, of  KS and Lowell AR passed away December 26, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital after a sudden illness.
Even in death this artist did not lay down her brushes, through the gift of organ and tissue donation Lori’s loving brush strokes will touch families forever.
She was born January 5, 1963 to Alvin “Bud” Lowe Sr. and Juanitta Dalphine Richards of Mulberry KS. She attended Arma schools and chose a career in Pest Control, working all over the 4-state area. She was currently employed by Simple Simons Pizza in Baxter Springs and Emerald Pointe in Galena. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, Springdale AR. Lori was former Girl Scout leader and was active in her granddaughter’s Baxter Springs Daisy Troop as well as her biggest fan at twirling events.
Lori enjoyed life and the simple pleasures it provided. She never wanted for material things and had a keen understanding that happiness was not in things you could purchase. She walked through life with bare feet and a free spirit. Her life was a beautiful canvas and she painted it with love.
She will be missed by her daughter, Heathur Pliler, son-in-law Brent and granddaughter Kami of Baxter Springs, her son Robert White of Fayetteville AR, her best friend Phil Clugston of rural Cherokee and her companion dog Gizmo. She is also survived by step daughters Kelli and William Phillips of Salina, KS, Kristyn and Jeremy Shultz of Lenexa, KS, and additional granddaughters Inga, Abigail and Emilee. She was preceded in death by her parents, but leaves behind her brothers and sisters. Marilyn VanKirk, and Coletta and Karry Pitts all of Baxter Springs KS; Alvin and Nancy Lowe Jr., Cherokee KS; Dianne and Rick Neal of Farmington AR; Art and Trish Lowe, Pittsburg, Ks. and Marc Lowe Sr. of Pittsburg KS. Additionally she will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews upon whom lives she had tremendous impact.
A celebration of Lori’s life will take place on Tuesday December 29 at 11:00 am at the First Assembly of God Church 1245 Park Avenue in Baxter Springs with a memorial service by Pastor Dallas Satterfield. In Lieu of flowers donations can be left at the church in her name.
