Larry Large, age 59 of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away at home peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2012. He had been so well cared for by Hospice with Heart and his sister-in-law, Christine Foote.

He was born April 4, 1953 in Pittsburg, Kansas to the late Ora C. Large and Hazel N. Munger.

Larry worked for Walnut Hill-Cutler Cemetery until his retirement in 1997.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Annette Large, Kathy Large, Linda Roberts and Shirley Auman, brothers, Jim Munger and Robert Large.

Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rose Large, sons, Larry Large, Jr. and wife, Kristy and Michael Large & wife, Sara; grandchildren, Derek & Devin Large, Jazmin, Alexandra & Brianna Large, Britni, Devin, Avery and Darby Thomas; siblings, Kenny (Donna) Munger, Don Large, John (Mary) Munger, Leo (Margaret) Large, Dan (Norma) Large, Richard (Deb) Large, Sandy (Johnny) Mercado, Carolyn (Jack) Smith, Barbara (Mark) Garrison; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

It was Larry’s wish to be cremated and there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas near his parents.
