Pearl May Callaway Endicott, 90, of Pittsburg, passed away at 4:13 p.m., Thursday, November 22, 2012, at the Golden Living Center, Pittsburg.

She was born March 30, 1922, at Kirkwood, KS, the daughter of Jesse Day and Jesse May (Mercer) Callaway.  She attended local schools and graduated from College High School in 1940.

On November 19, 1944, she was united in marriage to Andy Endicott at Pittsburg, KS.  He preceded her in death on May 2, 2007.

Mrs. Endicott was a cafeteria manager for U.S.D. 250 in Pittsburg for 26 years before retiring in 1987.

Membership was held in the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Pittsburg.

Survivors include two sons, Steven A. Endicott and his wife, Cindy of Cherokee, KS, and Dennis Endicott and his wife, Judy of Montgomery, AL, a daughter-in-law, Wanda Endicott of Mindenmines, MO, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, one son, LeRoy L. (Butch) Endicott, two brothers, George Callaway and Basil Mercer and one sister, Lillian Melton.

A service for Mrs. Endicott will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Pittsburg, with Father William Wolff officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Brenner Mortuary.  The family suggests memorials to Angels Among Us.  These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th Street, Pittsburg, KS 66762.  Friends may also leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.
