Dorothy Gerarldine “Gerry” Aquino

Dorothy Gerarldine “Gerry” Aquino, 67, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Gold Medallion Nursing Home in Tulsa, Okla. She had been in ill health for over a year.
She was born December 19, 1940 in Roseland to Ernest and Minnie (Florio) Aquino. She lived most of her life in Tulsa, Okla. She was a medical secretary at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa until her retirement in 2002.  She was of Catholic faith.
Survivors include a brother, Joe Aquino of Rogers, AR, and two sisters, Kathryn Jones of Winfield and Jody Hinson of Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Supancic.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Scammon. Father Chrysostom Ah Maung will serve as celebrant. Organist will be Sharon Barone. Burial will follow in the St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Scammon. The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
