Bobbie Holland Sr., 71, Pittsburg, KS, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012 at a hospital in Pittsburg, KS.
Bobbie was born in St. Louis, MO July 3, 1940 to James and Jenny Holland. He lived several places before moving to St. Joseph in 1993. Bobbie had just recently moved to Pittsburg, KS. He was a member of the Word of Life Church and had worked security for several retail stores.
Preceding Bobbie in death were his parents, and two brothers, Jack Holland and James Haynes Jr.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Holland, St. Joseph; two sons, Tim (Kristy) Holland, Kansas City, MO; Bob Holland Jr., Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Rebecca (Jeff) Griffith and Jessica Holland, St. Joseph; one brother, Jim Holland, Pittsburg, KS; one sister, Edna Carmichael, Booneville, MO; twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Clark-Sampson Funeral Home, St. Joseph, with interment following in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Pastor Brian Zahnd officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
