Carolyn Sue Mansell 65, of Arma, KS died 5:41 a.m. Thursday February 4, 2010 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO following a long illness.
Carolyn was born March 16, 1944 in Holton, KS to Delbert and Jessie (Tharp) Mansell.  She has been a resident of the area most all her life.  Carolyn was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Wesley House and Methodist Church.
Survivors include siblings Thelma Harsha of Holton, KS, Peggy Lou Davidson of Kansas City, MO, Betty Jean Shealp of Kansas City, MO; nieces and nephews Alice Woods, Jodi Brown, Stephanie Benson, Vicki Maygers, Christy Reed, Jay Mansell and Billy Mansell; 7 great nieces and nephews; 14 great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents siblings Jimmy, Hazel, Leroy and Donald; infant son Richard Tate Jr.
Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday February 10, 2010 at the All Save Church 307 N. Military in Mulberry, KS with Pastor Billy Wells officiating.  E-mail condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.  Arrangements are by Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg, KS.
