Barbara Ann Dertinger

Barbara Ann Dertinger, 62, of Girard, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her residence in Girard.
She was born January 26, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of John and Barbara (Schaub) Gillard. She grew up and attended schools in Detroit and Warren, Michigan and graduated from nursing school in California.
She married Thomas Dertinger in Warren. He preceded her in death in January of 1986.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include a brother, John Gillard, of Troy Michigan and nieces Sheryl Wing, Carrie Angus, and Kristi Rippey, all of Michigan. Several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mrs. Dertinger has been cremated and no services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard.
