Ethel “Janet” Larson

Ethel “Janet” Larson, 70, of Arma, KS, passed away at 8:07 a.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Medicalodge South of Pittsburg. She was born August 14, 1937, at El Dorado, KS, the daughter of Elmer and Ethel (Bentley) Griffith.

On July 6, 1957, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Edwin Larson. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2007. Mrs. Larson was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol E. Maslen and her husband Thomas E. of Pittsburg, KS, Brenda Lemaster and her husband Norman of Ardmore, OK, and Anita Craimer of Wichita, KS, one son, Gilbert Leroy Larson of Pittsburg, KS, one sister, Juanita Williams of Huntsville, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jack Griffith, and one sister, Jacalyn Eaton. Mrs. Larson has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
