Donald “Wayne” Louderback, age  71, of Topeka, Kansas,  passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Midland Hospice House following an illness.

He was born January 28, 1941, in Iola, Kansas, to Murel Wesley and Edna Avis (Johnson) Louderback.  He grew up in SE Kansas and attended College High School in Pittsburg, KS.  He later served in the United States Air Force.

Wayne had been a member of the Topeka community for several years after moving from Washington, Kansas.  He was an over the road truck driver for many years and also worked as a salesman with advertising specialties.

Survivors include five daughters, Diana (Ted) Fuhrken, Topeka, KS, RoxAnne Zabokrtsky (Dan), Washington, KS, Ronda Steddum (Scott), Bentonville, AR, Billie Jo Prior (Quentin), Deltona, FL, and Dawn Turner, Wichita, KS; two sons, Loren Louderback (Mariah), St. George, KS, and Harold Louderback (Misty), Topeka, KS; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Donna Johnston, Lamar, MO, and Beverly Debusk, Las Vegas, NV; and three brothers, Murel Louderback, Nixa, MO, Jim Louderback, Casa Grande, AZ, and Richard Louderback, Poplar Bluff, MO; and his first wife Connie Kraner, Pittsburg, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Murel Robert Louderback, former wife, Karen (Newcomb) Louderback, four sisters and one brother.

A gathering to celebrate Wayne’s life will be at Dove Funeral Home, 10:00 am Thursday, November 29, 2012. Inurnment of cremains will follow in Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne Louderback Memorial, a fund to be determined at a later date, and sent in care of Carey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 196, Burlingame, KS 66413.
