Joan Trimble, 83, died February 6, 2010 at her home in Columbia.

No services are planned, but a visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10 at the Community of Christ Church 1111 Fairview Rd. in Columbia.

Joan was born in Arma, Kansas to Dan and Cleo White Margrave.  She had two half-brothers, Bill and Orson Margrave.

On December 23, 1951, she married Robert R. Trimble.  They lived in Pittsburg, Kansas and Stillwater, Oklahoma before moving to Columbia in 1966.  She worked for the University of Missouri as a secretary for 23 years.  Both were active in the R.L.D.S. church for many years.  Joan loved singing and she had a beautiful voice.  She sang extensively in church choirs as a soloist.  Joan and Bob often sang duets.

Joan was a most loving and devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert R. Trimble of Columbia; daughter, Jo Lynne Perry and husband, Phil; granddaughter, Leslie Curtis and husband, Matt; great-grandson, Trey Curtis.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, half-brothers, and son Randy Trimble.
