Bonnie Mae Smith, 91 of Pittsburg died at 7:09 am, January 9, 2013 at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg.
She was born Oct. 31, 1921 in Weir, KS the daughter of James and Martha (Brown) Wilson.
On July 6, 1938 she was united in marriage to Fred Smith he preceded her in death in 1975.
She was a member of the Open Door Fellowship Church in Arcadia.
Bonnie worked for the Parsons Ammunition Plant in Parsons for several years then worked for Annshires Garment Company many years as a seamstress.
She was a member of the Garment Workers Union of America.
Survivors include a sister Ella Jean Coplin of Port Angeles, WA and a daughter-in-law Peggy Smith of Pittsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Walter Smith, three sisters Hazel, Pauline and Wodra along with two brothers Kenneth and Jesse.
