George J. Martisus, 90 of Weir, KS died at 1:10 a.m., June 24, 2009 at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, KS.
George was born October 14, 1918 in Alton, ILL. He was raised in the Catholic Children’s Home in Alton, where he attended school.
George married Bena Maria Fragnella in Reno, NV. She preceded him in death January 3, 2006.
George was a carpenter for many years. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union.
George is survived by his nephew and nieces and great nephew and great-nieces.
George was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters.
Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Scammon, KS. E-mail condolences may be left at our Web site www.bathnaylor.com.
