Gerald (Dean) Tremain

Gerald (Dean) Tremain passed from this life on July 8, 2009 at his home with his wife and beloved family.
He was born on August 5, 1932 in Holly Colorado, to Myrtle (Hoffine) Tremain and Keith Tremain. He married Shirley Dye on November 1, 1953. They had fifty - six wonderful years together. Gerald was an aircraft mechanic until he retired, he enjoyed gardening and fishing, helping his neighbors mow, spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Gerald’s family includes his wife Shirley Tremain of the home, Grove, Okla., four sons, Rick Tremain and wife Judy, Olathe, Kan., Mark Tremain, Girard, Kan., Ralph Tremain and wife Tracey, Grove, Okla., Jack Tremain and wife Beverly, Ozark, Mo., one daughter, Donna Caudill and husband Marlon, Grove, Okla., eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Romona Townsend, Bartlesville, Okla., three brothers, James Tremain, Havanna, Kan., LeRoy Tremain, Nashville, Tenn., Don Tremain, Manhattan, Kan. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be Saturday July 11, 2009 at 11:30 a.m., at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Grove, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove cemetery. Services entrusted to Burckhalter Funeral Home, Vinita, Okla.
