LAMAR, Mo. —

James Paul “Cubby” Hall, 63, of Lamar, Missouri passed away on August 5, 2008 at his residence in Barton County, Mo.
Cubby was born September 5, 1944 in Barton County, Mo. on the home place of his family and has remained an area lifetime resident of that home until his death. He was the grandson of Dudley and Zella Hall and the son of Esther Hall. Cubby was a graduate of Liberal High School and was valedictorian of his graduating class. He had worked as a truck driver for over 38 years for the Berry-Hill Oil Company which later became LaMarti’s.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Lamar and was a member and past president of the Lamar Metro Club. Cubby was the first recipient of the Lamar Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Year Award.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Fowler and one brother, Glenn Lamberson, both of Lamar, two nieces, Shirley Fowler and Mitzi Willey, two great nephews, Zach and Andrew Fowler, the family of Fleeter Marti and many, many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Robert and Wayne Hall.
Services will be Friday, August 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Konantz-Warden Funeral Home Chapel with Zach Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Iantha Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation, Iantha Cemetery or the First Baptist Church in Lamar in care of the funeral home.
