Dear Editor:
The president is weighing where and when to send the troops. Why not send them to “K” Street to rout out the 20,000-plus lobbyists buying and selling our 535 elected representatives in business as usual? And special forces units to Wall Street? Who has done more damage to the country — a nation of sub-literate peasants or the denizens of high-rise offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City? There were no Afghanis in the planes that struck the WTO and the Pentagon!
Most were Saudi Arabian.
Any uniformed forces left over could be used to shut down CIA prisons still operating illegally in Poland, Rumania and Lithuania(!)... or other undisclosed locations.
A military clean-up of Madison Avenue and the ad-agencies dedicated to promoting “need” for pills... pills, lotions, and unguents for every orifice of the human body might help reduce the need for health insurance reform Then they could move on to the fast-food stokers.
Imagine... no more Triple-Whoppers!
