Dear Editor
I’m certain that many of us are disgusted with the amount of media coverage centered on the death and funeral of Michael Jackson. One national network devoted twenty of its thirty minute news broadcast to the death of Mr. Jackson. Another national network devoted eighteen minutes to funeral coverage while limiting itself to four minutes of coverage reporting the Obama-Medvedev international meeting. I admit to not liking pop music, but surely the future of the free world deserves more attention than the tragic passing of any single human being. I did not watch one minute of the funeral proceedings but would have liked to hear more of the American attempt to narrow the schism between our government and that of Russia. To me, our priorities are extremely misguided.
