Improving economy

Dear Editor:
I realized today that Lynn Jenkins missed the class in school where they discussed “kinetics.” That’s when an object is set in motion, it tends to stay in motion.
In her weekly e-mail, she restated her belief that Obama’s stimulus bill earlier this year is the cause of lost jobs in “49 out of 50 states.” She doesn’t grasp the truth that kinetics is at work, just as it was when Hoover’s depression continued into FDR’s early years, so is Bush’s “depression” still in motion in Obama’s. (To those that can’t find decent paying jobs, it is a depression.)
No matter how hard she tries to lay the blame for our hard times on the Democrats, that just isn’t going to fly. In fact, it tells you she doesn’t understand how we got to where we are. That we are still suffering from Bush’s failures.
She states she will continue working on solutions to put Americans back to work, and by keeping her promises will build trust. Her solution is the same as Hoover prescribed, he just continued to drive this nation deeper into that depression. Tax cuts for the wealthy and hot air.
Yes, I believe that she would keep her word. Then God would have to help this nation, it would be beyond human ability to repair it.
Obama must be doing something right, our GNP is the highest it has been since 2003. If we stay the course, we may survive with an improving economy.
