Dear editor:
Kudos to the city road workers who repaved Ohio Street, Tucker Terrace and S. Tucker St. They did a beautiful job under some very tough working conditions (temperatures of 105 degrees and above).
Shouldn’t the city have a cut-off temperature (i.e. 90 or 95 degrees) for its employees who work outside, when it’s just too hot and dangerous to be out there? Heat stroke is a serious matter!
Thanks again, city road workers, for a job well done!
Sincerely,
